Yes, marble is softer than granite and will scratch easier. Besides
the hardness, marble provides for a brighter colored surface.

Can I use any type of cleaner on my tile,
marble or granite?
No, do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive pads. Stay away from
ammonia and or bleach. You can use mild dishwasher soap.

softness and tendency to easily scratch. We recommend you use tile

Yes, granite is a hard stone and will resist heat but care should
be given when placing hot cooking oils on granite. This can discolor
the sealed surface of the stone.

Yes, but a sealant is usually applied to the surface to prevent
